Elounda Beach Hotel Crete Greece
Set in fragrant gardens and close to a pretty fishing village, Elounda Beach has an enchanting setting. Overlooking the turquoise waters and white sands of Mirabello Bay and the fortress island of Spinalonga, the kaleidoscope of colours surrounding the hotel is stunning. Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast before settling down on the private beach for a day of sunbathing and relaxation. The seawater pool is surrounded by decking with comfortable sun loungers, and the pool bar is close by for refreshments.
The hotel has a restaurant for almost every day of the week, so there's plenty of variety. Artemis is the main buffet-style restaurant by the pool. Named after the hedonistic God of Wine, Dionysos Restaurant serves gourmet Greek cuisine alongside some exceptional fine wines. The Argonaut concentrates on Mediterranean and Italian dishes whilst the candle-lit Blue Lagoon by Mistura has one of the most scenic spots and specialises in blending Peruvian cuisine with Japanese, Spanish, Chinese and Italian influences. For more traditional homemade-style Greek cuisine, head for pretty Kafenion, with its rustic village-square setting shaded by olive trees.
Rooms are scattered throughout the grounds, divided into several mini-resort-like clusters. Classic Rooms Seaview are housed in the main Elounda building, with a private balcony and views of Mirabello Bay. Classic Bungalows Seaview are set within the hotel grounds and have a large terrace or garden and bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. Deluxe Rooms Gardenview Imperial (in the Imperial Spa building) have a large balcony, bedroom with sitting area, and bathroom with TV, Jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Interconnecting rooms are available.
